ACDC tickets

Posted on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Uncategorized

Ok for all you people who have tickets going on sale December 17th -19th this thread is for you. DO NO STARTED ANOTHER TOPIC if you have questions please come here. It will make it so much easier for other members to answer questions for you. First off I will try to answer the basic questions for you.

1. Where is my Passcode and how do I buy ACDC Tickets?

Passcodes will be available a little before or right at the time ticket are to go on sale. Got to the ticket page here https://tickets.acdc.com/ keep refreshing this page until you see GET TICKETS beside the show you want to go to click that link which will take you to your passcode. By clicking on this link early before you see the GETACDC Tickets it will only take you to the sign up page . Copy the passcode and click continue, you will then be taken to a page when you have to agree to all terms, click the agree box and contiune where you will be taken to the ticket sellers page. It is at this point where you will have to paste your passcode in and number of tickets wanted, (always a good idea as a back up to paste your passcode to another place where it is readly available). Here is another link where AC/DC staff explains the ticket buying http://acdc.com/help/faqAnswer.php?faqID=50&catID=8 read it over.
In most cases fan club tickets go on sale the same time as the general public sale. The fan club has a seperate allotment of ACDC Tickets for it members but you are not guaranteed to get tickets, that is where the money back guarantee come into effect here is the link to this http://acdc.com/help/faqAnswer.php?faqID=154&catID=25.
Importance do not click on a show you do not want to go to or try to test the system by doing this. If by mistake you do click on the wrong show you quickest way to recieve another passcode would be to create (buy) another membership and get your money back for the first one.

2. I got a code but never got ACDC Tickets last time, can I get another code or use the same one?

For everyone asking about getting a code to one show, not using it, and then wanting to know if they can get a code to another, the answer is “no” and “yes”.

We can’t tell if you’ve used a code to buy tickets until the ticket vendor sends us information on tickets purchased. This takes months, thus we cannot freely distribute additional codes.

However, because you have not purchased tickets, you can request a refund for your membership and then sign-up for another membership. In this scenerio, you will be refunded for the first membership and thus will only pay for one membership ultimately. Please note, it takes up to 30 days to receive your refund and you mustn’t have purchased tickets in the Fan Club sale with that membership.

3. How many ACDC Tickets can I get with my membership.

You may buy 2 ticket total with you membership. That is not 2 ticket pre show but 2 ACDC Tickets thru your AC/DC fan club membership total. If you want to buy more than 2 tickets you are free to get another membership, this is up to you.

Ok now is the time to ask questions if you are not sure, do not wait until your tickets are on sale as it might be to late by then. Again please come to this thread for all questions concerning ticket sales for the dates Dec. 17th- 19th. it will be much easier to get any answers from other board members. Do not count on AC/DC staff to be around.

acdc tickets Some Recent Excerpts from the ACDC Forum about the lack of a scottish date (which they have now added, onsale this wednesday!)

Scottish fans acdc tickets have supported AC/DC from the early years .IF YOU WANT BLOOD (you’ve got it) JUST PLAY IN SCOTLAND or a venue that is big enough so we can avoid the mega number of ticket touts.

Hampden Murrayfield not T in the park no one can get tickets.

The millenium stadium would be amazing with a capacity of 74 500 and roof that closes.

Do AC/DC have the guts to play this size of Stadium… rock n’ roll at it’s best.

beware of the eBay Ticket Scam

Posted on Monday, December 15, 2008 in Uncategorized

Checking through some listings today we have found the following eBay advert for two standing ACDC tickets:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150316008782&category=1306

rather incredibly, the guy that has put this up seems to think he will sell 5,000 pounds worth of “lottery tickets” to win TWO standing ACDC tickets, face value £80.

That means that he will be making £4,920 out of this by the time he sends out two tickets. Its scammers like these that make eBay a BAD place to buy tickets. If you are going to buy tickets from any secondary source then the only safe place to buy will be people like Seatwave: http://www.seatwave.com/acdc-tickets/season as otherwise you are risking losing your hard earned money!!

ACDC presale code

Posted on Monday, December 15, 2008 in Uncategorized

So, the dates have been announced, and we know when they are onsale!

The only problem is, there doesnt appear to be a private fanclubs presale, so that means that we are all lumped into the general public onsale.

For those of you that are interested head over to tickets.acdc.com and you will see that the european stadium dates are set to be onsale on Wendesday morning for most of Europe, the UK included at 9am UK time. There are also tickets for five (yes FIVE) stadium shows in Germany, making this one hell of a tour!

So stay tuned for more information as to when AC DC is going on sale and if there is a presale for fans I will post any passwords I can get my hands on right here on this blog!

Did you Know:
Malcolm and Angus developed the idea for the band’s name after seeing the initialism “AC/DC” on the back of a sewing machine owned by their older sister, Margaret Young. “AC/DC” is an abbreviation for “alternating current/direct current”, which indicates that the electricity is being converted from alternating current (wall outlet) to direct current (sewing machine). The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band’s raw energy.
